Design is not the invention of a form and then its documentation. It is the repeated fitting of a form to a context that is already there, a slope, a boundary, a climate, a family, until the conflicts between them are resolved rather than concealed.
An iteration is not a correction to a part: when the plan moves, the section and the approach move with it, so the whole is redrawn. Held on one frame, the grid stays still and the design does not, which is the thing worth being able to see.
